My $.02.
A friend of mine recently was in US, so i've ordered DR800SG from bestbuy on February 20th. Because he was leaving US on February 26th, i've paid for Express Delivery (bestbuy have promised february 24-25th arrival date for my order). Bestbuy immediately withdrawed the funds from my credit card.
However, on february 23th my order went into "backordered" state.
In email i've received from bestbuy they were offering some options, including cancelling my order. I've asked them to cancel my order, but got no answer. On february 25th, i've asked them again, and again there was no answer.
On february 27th i've received a strange email from bestbuy indicating that there is some billing problem, so they could not process my order. I've asked them of what billing problem they are talking about, asked to cancel my order (at the moment, there already was an offer from Car Toys), and finally got an answer that they're escalating my request to their Order Department and will cancel my order asap.
So, today i've put some money on my credit card to pull the trigger with Car Toys deal (i have another friend who lives in the US, and i've asked him to receive the package and resend it to me)... however, immediately after i've funded my account, bestbuy withdrawed the funds once more, and now i've received the email stating that my order just was shipped.
So, ultimately i've got charged $900 (2*(device+tax+express delivery)) for the order shipped 5 days after the promised delivery date, to the address where no one lives now. All this after i have numerously times asked to cancel the order, and after bestbuy rep. said me that they're cancelling it. I'm now going to fill a chargeback claim in my credit organization, which is going to give me some headache; hope that Car Toys or another reseller will have these in stock after i will get back my money from bestbuy.
Well, consider this my bad luck, but i just can't believe there are such horrible online stores. It looks like they're not thinking of their customers at all

i believe US customers already know what bestbuy is, but maybe there are some who do not.
