I just purchased a new laptop. (My old one was giving me blue screens of death within 30 minutes of booting it up. It was also incredibly slow. I suspect these issues were related.) So, it's time to download and install software.
Python - no problem.
Audacity - no problem.
iTunes - no problem.
HP Printer Drivers (over 300 Meg) - no problem
But when I attempt to download Calibre, it hangs on the download, about 27 Meg into it. It doesn't matter if I use the link on the Calibre site, or if I go to SourceForge. Heck, I even attempted to download a couple earlier versions.
I did get 0.6.17 successfully downloaded and installed.
How can I get the latest version of Calibre downloaded and installed on my computer (Inspiron with Win 7 Home Premium)?
