You know, Friday night was the first time they've ever asked me that in 14 months of being a customer. Of course he also asked me which IP addresses I use for my machines from the router which was completely irrelevant since I bypassed the router to troubleshoot.
It would be different if it was
just a speed issue, and the reliability wasn't a problem. If they had blinding speed but occasional outages I might even then be more understanding. I now have neither the speed I was paying for nor the reliability; I'd say they failed on the good-faith-effort end of things and I've got a pretty good rationale for getting out of the contract since I'm simply not getting what I'm paying for.
