Was it? I thought it was more of a general purpose media consumption device for a bit of light browsing, movies and email, that oh yeah, by the way, also has a great screen you can read on.

Something of a nonsense 'filler' article all round really; it's a bit late in the day as a 'news' story (the iPad launch was a month ago) it doesn't really cover any new ground, and nobody really knows how well they'll sell and in what segments until they ship in a months time.

Oh, and FWIW, I've seen a lot more MacBook Airs out in the wild than I have eBook readers...
