Good grief, what an iRex fanboy. I'm glad you got your 800, and I never thought the thing wouldn't sell even a single unit. But so long as this unit remains overpriced for being capable of nothing beyond the most basic of reader functionality, remains unavailable to all but the people who know where to find it and go specifically looking for it on the BB website, or remains unavailable
period, it is going to get buried and remain a super-niche product here in the U.S. I'm
upset because when iRex first announced this device many months ago, it looked like exactly what I was hoping for in a reader. It's upsetting that this company screwed the product up so badly that it isn't even close to being worth what they're charging for it. Too bad: it could have been killer for the ereader market.
