Simplicity, minimalist design is what I'd prefer in the OS for a tablet. It's really mainly going to be an e-reader/markup tool for me, and it doesn't need a version of windows etc. to do that.
Thanks for clarifying . Multitasking could easily be built into the OS on the iPad just through a firmware update.
