Rather a mid-series book. A couple of minor resolutions, lots of things happen, but it definitely feels just like part of a larger work. I don't think there's really enough of a story (beginning, middle, end) happening in the book.
On the other hand, I will certainly buy and read the next one. Although if it also takes a few years to arrive, I'll try to make the time to re-read the earlier ones next time!
