Paused and Educated.

The DX does read pdf files (though it doesn't edit them and I've seen nothing that says the iPad will have a PDF editing feature either).

Web browsing is possible on the DX for info lookups anywhere on the web but it's slow. HOWEVER, it is free and I use the 3G out on the streets all the time. No extra cost for that.
