Another noir paperback mystery, full of murder and other neat things, published in the 1950s.

This is from the cover:

"He fell in love with another cop's wife - then had to go out and find his killer!"

Ok, ok!!!!!! I admit, there's some pronoun ambiguity! But you get the idea, don't you? I mean, this isn't DOA [the film].

There's nothing complicated here, just a good blood-and-guts thriller from the 1950s!!!
