This thread was in response to one started by Richard Herley, whose web site is here. Richard had made a number of his books available for free download, asking for donations from readers who liked his work. Unfortunately, despite 100,000+ downloads, he only got 144 (IIRC) payments. You can now find his books on smashwords.
