Have a look at the German PocketBook forum. They have done translation to German language.

You simply take an English, or German, or whatever existing language file, you translate the strings and place one single translated file in the /system/language directory you see when you connect the PocketBook to your PC. That is it.
We would like it very much if you could translate it. Please let me know and I will send you the language text of your choice to translate from.
