books to my sony 505. I downloaded books in EPUB format to my computer.

I've tried using the 'copy' command to send them to the reader (plugged in via USB and showing up as drive 'F' on my computer) I put them in the media/devices/books folder. If I pull up the 'F' drive, it looks like they are there, but if I unplug the reader they are not there.

I have tried just dragging and dropping the files from my computer on to the 'F' drive, and again it looks like they are there, but they are not when I open the reader.

I've tried syncing through the Sony reader software that I downloaded from the Sony site. I click 'sync', looks fine, but when I click on the 'status' button it says 'completed: 0 of 2 files copied'. In other words, it is not copying them to the reader.

Suggestions, please?
