After watching all three of these, you'll probably feel like going out and jumping off the nearest bridge. But the trio does a pretty good job of conveying the general feel of the Cold War to those who didn't live through it. I tried it out on my nieces and nephews

I agree with including Failsafe - IMHO - one of the strangest but finest movies on this topic. But I've never been able to watch Dr. Strangelove - I just can't stand its humor/approach.
