Hey there, my name is Scott and I'm a new member to the site here. I have been lurking for a while but finally decided to take the plunge and register since I really am liking these forums. I am new to the world of ereaders and currently use an Ipod touch with the kindle and stanza app. My main reasons for choosing the ipod were price, and it just has a lot more flexibility than a pure reading device. (also, my wife complaining of all the books I always leave lying around and cluttering the house had a little to do with buying more digital books now)
I will be looking for a reader eventually when the prices come down more where I feel they should be. I'm a big fan of science fiction, fantasy, and horror.... my favorite authors being George Martin, Tolkien, Thomas Ligotti, and HP Lovecraft. Hope to meet some nice people here along the way.
