I copied a text file to my Kindle 2's document folder. After disconnecting the Kindle from my PC, the file appeared in Kindle's directory and I can read the file. My problem is that a few letters are missing from the text. I checked the original file (no problems there) and reloaded it to the Kindle. In nearly the same place in the text, the originally-missing letter is present but a different near-by letter is missing. This effect is independent of font size.

The passage in my file is "We have chosen not to blind you any longer and have left you ..."

After the first transfer to the Kindle, it read "We have chosen not to blind yo any longer and have left you ..."

After the second transfer, it read "We have chosen not to blid you any longer and have left you ..."

Something wrong with my Kindle? With all Kindle 2s? With me?
