I hope you mean the opposite (light --> dark).
The text inside. Well at the beginning I wanted something readable. And with an 36x36 px icon you don't have much room for text. That's how the MR and V3 came to life. Now, as time passes I'm not so sure it's such a good idea to have readable text on the screen. I was inspired by
yvanleterrible's avatar. And then I had to squeeze it in 20x25 px screen. It's neither fish nor fowl now.
So leaving the screen blank or with some default picture (LBooks book pile, the coffee cup from Hanlin/LBook, etc.) on it sound like the better idea.
The typo. Thanks - I (obviously) missed it.
But I have a free advice to offer now:
Don't make animations at 4 a.m.! Or at least don’t type any words with more than 3 characters.

Like beachwanderer says, there are V3 and V5 on the market now (both looking almost identical). The 10" should also come... someday. I think the picture is fine, but the V3 "logo" might not be appropriate.
