It's 8000 words and is about a woman who treats her college proffesor husband badly, cheats on him, lies etc. Anyway she dies and the angel of death gives her an opportunity to make up for the things she did while she was alive, but although her intentions seem sincere her true nature comes through in the end.

Belize, really? That's where my book Xenolith starts (and where the sequel ends). Have you spent time there? Fascinating place. Quite the conjunction of cultures. (Mennonites, Brits, Africans, Amerindians, Spanish).
So, yeah, I'm fixing up the sequel to Xenolith now pushing 102K words. And also editing my third novel Lethe, 10 chapters of which are now accessible on Authonomy.com.
Once I clear all this trash out of the way, I can get on with the novel I really want to finish (Sonant) which sits on my backburner at 30K and is full of jazz and suicide and avant-garde music and faerie sprites and carbon-based alchemy and Finger Lakes.
