First, I would like to thank all those who's posts have help me decide on getting an e-reader (nook). The brand (B&N, Kindle, Sony, etc) was not as important as my desire to get back into reading for enjoyment.

My passion is photography, but reading a good story can be as relaxing as anything. After 27 years of of reading and writing technical papers, PP presentations, spreadsheets, and the like, I can finally take advantage of what I was taught as a child: "books are your friends; read them and they will take you on journeys you can't imagine".
