Don't give up on ePUBs girlfriend, it is a battlefield at the moment to be sure and there are always casualties but there is no doubt in my mind about the eventual outcome. In the meantime though as you say.... the more Software and devices out there the better.
Choice is good, DRM is bad.
People who read eBooks are not a resource of the eBook industry, they ARE the eBook industry.
Publishers must bend to OUR will or perish.
