I've used Calibre with my HP IPAQ 3950 and 4705. I don't "load" it on either. I merely access the content server and download ebooks. Then I read them with uBook or Microsoft Reader on the IPAQ. The content server runs on my home Windows machine (one on a Vista and another on XP). Often, I just use the Save function to save the ebooks to an SD card, then plug the SD card into the IPAQ.
