My grandmother taught me to love raw meatloaf mixture. Hers was ground or minced fresh beef, raw egg, tomatoes, onion, and lots of black pepper. Heaven! And I've never gotten sick from it. I've always wanted to try the traditional version of steak tartare, but have never been anywhere that serves it. Happy's picture looks pretty easy though.
I'm with you on the steak, too, KK - I want it to be just past "moo".
