Ouch. Sorry to hear that, CommanderROR. I have a low level ear-ringing all the time (
tinnitus is the name of mine), and it occasionally flairs up so that I can't hear much around it. If what you've got is like that, it's certainly not a fun thing -- especially if you're not used to it.
I hope they get it cleared up for you quickly.
