Well, with all the good look that I've had this year something bad was bound to happen...but I hadn't expected it to be this bad...

Yesterday night I had a "Hörsturz", the english word is apparently "acute hearing loss" on my left ear. I can still hear, but it's slightly muted on the left ear and every sound produces a terrible noise in my left ear...sounds a lot like a microphone getting too close to a speaker or simply being used at too loud volume and "overreacting"...

I started treatment today (went to the doctor first thing in the morning) and it should be ok in a few days, but nobody can really say.
I've cancelled everything for now and will try to rest and recover as quikcly as possible. The Doctor said it was probably due to stress...which sounds plausible after what I've been through and am still doing (like ausiditons, exam and finding/furnishing and apartment...moving...)

I'll stop typing now because every keystroke sends my ear ringing...i'll keep you updated...
