As an elementary educator, I'm a firm believer in pre-school. As a mom, it was really hard for me to sign the kids up for pre-school. I wanted to keep them a baby as long as possible. Thankfully, I did the right thing and sent them to school. They were much better for it.

My husband and I have talked about what we want to do when he retires, whether to move back to Florida, etc. I told him I want to stay by my kids so that I can babysit my grandchildren and relieve the kids from having to pay for childcare. Unfortunately, Shannon tells me she can't see herself getting married or having children and I KNOW I'll be way too old to babysit for Ryleigh's kids. Hopefully, Shannon will change her mind when she meets the "Special Someone".
