I can tolerate an occassional reasonable delay, but chronic overbooking or other poor time management is unacceptable. Everyone's time is valuable, including the patient.
And when the office staff totally ignores the fact that you haven't been informed of any reason for the excessive delay while they cackle to each other instead, well, that's just rude and unprofessional. I won't be back.

The last time I went to an "Urgent Care Center", aka "Doc in a Box," on a Sunday, I was the ONLY patient in the building and could see the doc sitting in his office reading. I had to wait an hour to get a Z-Pack! Never been back there.
