With all the iPad-like devices on the horizon, what price can these color ebook readers command? It's going to be hard to overcome the "Well, for $500 I can get an iPad" mentality. I think something more than long battery life has to be an incentive. People are already comfortable charging their laptop every night and cell phone every other day perhaps.
