I have both devices. Screen refresh is only part of what happens on a page turn, so the specification could be misleading. The page also needs to be rendered before the screen is refreshed, so processor speed does matter. Software design also seems to make a difference because different firmware packages do seem to feel different. For me, the 5" is definitely brisker. Either one is quite usable for me though.
