Which ONLY has relevant meaning if you read into the claims: 1) As coming from Notion Ink; and 2) As being deceptive.

If the claims come from another source, there should be no reduction in trust. And if the claims are accurate (yes, BOTH claims could be accurate, though unlikely) there's no reduction of trust. You most certainly were reading into the claims (unless you enjoy saying truisms for no reason).

The great irony of this is that you've just undermined your own credibility by having "inconsistency" between what claiming you made no assumptions and what you actually said. Should we not trust you now? Or do the reasonable thing and just assume it was a mistake?
