The interesting part of course, is that Core Animation is an API for Mac OSX (Leopard and Snow Leopard), but originated in the iPhone OS X...so will of course be part of the iPad's OS.
Very interesting, indeed. I didn't really know this. Core Animation might send me back to Safari one day

Although, this may lend support to the argument that Apple is not letting Flash in for other reasons than performance issues.
