32 no G.

32 rather than 16, because I plan to buy version 2 if it is sufficiently upgraded, but want to retain the flexibility of being able to stick with version 1 without regrets. I figure that the main regret is likely to be getting the 16 rather than the 32. 32 rather than 64 because I have an iPhone for my music.

As for the G, I have an iPhone for any essential communication functions. I figure that 80 percent of the time I'll be at home with my wireless, and while on the road, half the time I should be able to find some hot spot. So I'd be spending 130 bucks, plus the fee, for what can't be over 10 percent of my usage. In those situations, I'll use my iPhone, & just store what I want to read on Instapaper, picking it up later at the next hot spot.
