I notice that the cursor movement (either on the home screen or within a book) is much faster. I guess it's faster to open books or move to the home screen, but I don't keep my Kindle too full, so that hasn't been a problem for me.

What has been a problem is deleting books - sometimes (since 2.3) it simply hasn't worked - the book stays on my home screen (sort of greyed-out). I haven't had this problem since 2.3.3, but I didn't see it all the time so I'm not sure. I'll be convinced it's gone if the problem doesn't reappear for a while.
