Some books have Multiple authors; eg. Weber & Ringo
Calibre does not cross index authors in the Author list.

Can the Catalog be made to do this for Authors?
Weber: same title
Ringo: same title

I don't know about other publishers or Genere's, but Baen seems to be notorious for series with 1 or more differing Author combinations
