It's all XML at that level, and surprisingly readable, you might want to have a look at it just out of curiosity, tekchic. The adjustments there are pretty trivial to make, and even to figure out how to make.
I tried to go one step further by making a battery level indicator between 0-100% to get a more accurate reading than the four blocks. I wrote some script and tested it on my fully charged Reader. It said: "100%". I was full of joy and started flipping pages like there was no tomorrow. Only to find out that when the first block dropped my indicator showed "74%". That gave the answer why it took so long before it wend below 100%. Well back to the drawing board.
