Whether these are worth the reduction in readability is down to individual preference. If the PRS900 were available with/without touch screen, I would be in two minds. If it were available with a different touch screen technology that required a special pen rather than a finger (like a wacom tablet), I would go for that option without question.

These technologies are moving so fast, that I'm confident that I'll be able to replace my PRS900 with a reflective, colour, touch-screen device, with optional backlight. The question is only how long this will take.
