The problem with our culture (and perhaps especially with the American flavor?) is that we want everything to be perfect, all the time. That is silly. Life is wonderful, but (because?) it's not perfect. Looking for perfection is just a very good way to make ourselves miserable while not enjoying what we have right here, right now.
