I don't know how the law applies to this sort of case (not my area of expertise, and I haven't seen comments from those who know to learn from), but I know this situation has arisen a couple of times earlier in the year.
In the cases I'm thinking of, I
believe that the resolution was that Sony both corrected the download (so that the buyer got the book they wanted)
and refunded the purchase price. I don't recall them clearly enough to be sure of it, though. All I remember clearly is that they did resolve the situation before.
I think I'd suggest (as someone did earlier, I'm not claiming it as my idea

) calling them -- they seem to respond faster to calls these days than e-mails. That ought to get some movement on it.
