I had the same experience many years ago.. no matter what I did or said, I just couldn't change the way she dealt with me. She left and I stayed. Life and work was so much nicer once I got over it and realized you just can't please or be liked by everyone.

That's what I keep telling myself. Now I'm just worried the replacement will be just like her, or ... heaven forbid...worse.
