Apple is in the business of lying. You want to believe whatever bollocks marketing speak they have, you go ahead. Play into their game.

Sure, other than all the facts from ISP Internet traffic, ipod owners usage surveys, published itunes sales numbers divided by number of published sold ipods. And more facts on bill of material and manufacturing cost in China for the iphone and the complete ridiculous $3500 2-year contracts people (like you?) signup for these.

Are you in the business of making money for those corproations? Or are you and most others on these Internet forums not more likely to have the interest of protecting the rights and improving the choices for consumers.

Oh you can be sure I never have bought and never will buy an apple product.

Then I spend my time helping other Internet users not get sucked into the apple reality distortion field. I let them know things like:

Apple is in the business of maximizing profits and preventing competition and preventing innovations in technology to disrupt their established business models. They don't care what is right for consumers.

More than 5 other major manufacturers are preparing Pixel Qi based tablets and laptops.

I've had my Archos 5 Internet Tablet with Android since October 2009, I've been using it for about 6 months when you get your much inferior iPad. In fact I've played DivX videos in a pocketable Archos device since 2002, in Tablet WiFi mode pocketable since 2005, with Flash support for web video streaming since 2007.

And Archos is releasing a 7" Android version around the same time as the iPad release for rumored only $199 all included. No lock-ins, it's Android multi-task, it's even able to multi-boot alternative Linux OS such as ubuntu, maemo, angstrom linux and qt.

At CES 2010, I saw about 15 other manufacturers releasing Tablets that all are better value than the iPad, most run Android software which does more than just the same as iphone OS on ipad.
