Same here-I like the way Ben put it because I'd be paying for the Kindle-Prime means nothing to me. (Not that I wouldn't take advantage of it, but I won't pay for it.)
But I won't sign up in 'expectation' that I'll get a Kindle. I'll wait until it's actually offered. If I miss out (e.g. it's only offered to 'current' Prime customers) then I miss out-I certainly don't *need* a Kindle, but am willing to try one out for $80.
