Writing what's beginning to feel like the endless novel, even though I just passed the 50,000 word mark (I really don't know how the NaNoWriMo people do it, it's taken me three months to get this far).

My sub-plot just replotted itself (the problem with writing character-driven fiction is that my characters don't always do what I think they're going to) and my main plot replotted itself about a month into writing, so I find I'm writing a completely different book than I started with.

I hope a better book, but that remains to be seen.
