the saga continues !
a few days ago i was in crisis mode because i had no news and i had called a few times and never been called back (and it's been more than a month !).
finally i heard from the guy 2 days ago, he said the head of consumer service had decided to exchange my reader for a new one, finally, but now, there was a delay because they had to decide if the new one would come from sonystore stock or from consumer service stock.

it's like a farce. the guy even gave me the direct telephone number and the name of the head of consumer service so i could, ah, "encourage" him to make up his damned mind. i wanted to call yesterday but i had a crazy day and didn't have time. so i would have called today, but...
just now, i got a call from the guy from sony. "we had a big surprise today," he says. "your reader has been returned, repaired. i guess they recieved the missing card sooner than they expected." he says he plugged it in and tested it, and everything is working fine. crazy ! so i'm off to pick it up (FINALLY !!) shortly. i'm a bit disappointed not to have a new one (just to be sure) but he said the card they replaced should fix all the problems i was having, and at this point i am just glad to get it back !!!
