Hmmm... I must try to think, as I set it up between 11pm and 3am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning... I received mine as a gift, so it didn't come with the installation cd - I did a couple of online searches to find it - can't now tell you which sites I found.
I loaded all of the software (sony and adobe), and just went ahead and fiddled with the sync until it loaded on. Truth is, most of my books ended up being copied twice (which doesn't really bother me).
