Oh yeah... THAT outmoded doctrine. Y'know... it would be nice if the anti-LDS crowd would at least *recognize* that the church has changed over the years. And it would be nice to admit that Christian, Muslim and other faiths have espoused slavery to be right and proper - based on skin color, would you believe it? - many times over the past centuries. But what gets me is that NO ONE stood up 'way back when' and shouted "I'm an atheist and atheism is foursquare against slavery and racism!"

The Mormon church does not, today, espouse or practice racism or hold to racist policies. And if one is going to haul off and hit the LDS church for this, then why not hit Muslims for their faith's similar past beliefs?
