Here's the debug info from 0.6.33. You can see a whole bunch of drives in it that don't appear in the later versions. If this is affecting me, shouldn't it be affecting a bunch of other people as well? I'm sure many ebook readers work as external drives. certainly the other maemo devices are. maybe it's a windows 7 thing? I also tried running the latest calibre as an administrator, that didn't make any difference.
