well that sucks. why is it that .33 detects it as a removable drive, but the newer versions don't? it's clearly mounted, as I demonstrated by showing you how it appears both in explorer as a mounted drive, and is listed in the eject hardware widget. I don't really understand what the debug log is saying, but it at least can tell that the 770 is there, judging from these lines:

i don't suppose there's anyway to go back to the old method of detecting devices, since that one works better?
