Today I got my Boox 60!!! I ordered it 10 days ago from Dulin's store. It said "backorder" but today I got it despite terrible weather on the East coast. Thanks, Charles!

First thing I did was updating its firmware from 1.2 to 1.2.2 -- it was easier following the instruction (http://booxusers.com/viewforum.php?f=18). My Boox got frozen immediately after I added SD card for the first time and I had learned where was the reset button and how to access it through the manual that I got on this forum (thanks). After the firmware's update it works reliably.

Second, I added dictionaries following the instructions at http://booxusers.com/viewtopic.php?t=6 However, I experienced a problem with "Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)" -- it does not work well at all (only for very-very few words). Hopefully, I downloaded and installed "WordNet" and it works great. The Lookup function does not work for me, although. I wonder if is used for translators. By the way, where can I get an English-Russian translator? (UPDATED: I found a useful site for many translators for diverse languages at http://xdxf.revdanica.com/down/index.php -- use StarDict format. I tried several English-Russian dictionaries and they work well on my Boox60).

I REALLY like how it handles pdf files!!! I tried EPUB and it works well as well.

Browsing Internet via WiFi (and Google) is fun -- it's fast! I really like that it can download pdf file from the Internet and you can open a pdf file quickly.

I wish I can access the annotation and dictionary functions easier and faster than jumping through a menu. Bottom icons can be handy.

I have a few questions for experts, please:

1) I need to see annotations on my computer. I know where to find them (in .onyx folder .sketch file). But can somebody lead me to a simple Windows friendly program (for dummies) that I can see and export the content of the .sketch file to Word? I was directed to SQLite program on this forum, but it is not friendly for people like me.

2) How can I create Shortcuts? I cannot find any instruction in the manual.

3) Is it possible to type in a Note? It would be really handy.

4) Is it possible to make a Note and attached it to Annotation? Taking typed notes while reading an ebook is very important for academics and students.

5) Is it possible to connect to my iPhone through the tether function in order to access Internet when WiFi is not available? If so, how?

PS I have Sony PRS-900 that I like but I have to return it back because of its glare and reflection. Boox feels much-much better but I miss Sony's finger touch function (but glare is terrible!). For sagiquarion, I tried to experiment with "proper reading light" to avoid glare and it was useless.
