I selected a random recipie, just to see if I'd be game to make it tonight... nah. Closedeyes, I grabbed The New American Cook Book, published in 1960, then opened it randomly and pointed a recipe for jellied lamb (iish). Tried a second time and pointed a recipe for "Lima bean tomato Rarebit". Had to google rarebit for a translation. Translation not available. Found odd references to Welsh Rabbit. Then found a good definition of the meal. Recipe bookmarked.

Me too, me too! I can never figure out why some of my friends get so stressed with cooking and following ingredient quantities. It seems to be a matter of life and death for them sometimes!
