@badgoodeb - well, i travel for weeks at a time (for work and vacation). and while i carry a laptop with me i don't feel like loading the laptop up with media just to send it over to the ipad so it's easier for me to load up at home, then hit the road. right now i have a 32g iphone and it does me just fine, but a little more won't hurt either. my rule is this. get more than you think you need, as long as you can afford it. and be sensible. lol. the $130 price for the 3g is a little overboard though imho, and since i have wifi everywhere, or can tether off my cell phones, i'm trying to decide if i want it or not.
