I've been doing a bit of that on my iPhone but it will be nice to have the larger screen. My decision now is to go with 3g or skip it (64G memory is a must). I keep waffling between the two.
It's not a "no brainer" for me either, but the thought of getting an iPad is growing on me. At first launch, I wasn't drawn to it. But I'm getting more and more eager to see one, and probably get one.

Scottjl -- My decision is definitely 3G (so I can check email and web surf without wifi) but very little memory (16G). My iPhone has very little on it. I guess I don't need my music with me all the time. What else do you feel you need the memory for? [ i.e. persuade me why I should think about more than the lowest memory configuration ]
