I remember years and years ago my mom convinced my dad to get a Burmese, we spent several hundred on it. It was the most beautiful cat, the fur, the features, everything!!

Everything, that is except his personality, he was great with the family, spent most of his time riding around on my shoulders. But, as soon as anyone came over, he ran and hid -no one ever saw him

So, no Savannah for us unless it is a rescue or some other deeply discounted one! But they are definitely a consideration, sort of a cat/dog mix and the best of both.
